Val Vista Lakes (Gilbert, AZ)

After looking at a bunch of ceremony sites (and having sticker shock over pricing).  We are booking Oct 16, 2010 at Val Vista Lakes.  They have a beautiful outdoor area for the ceremony - plus some great picture locations.  And a nice indoor area for the reception.  Plus they let you bring in your own vendors.  Sounds like a lot of work, but makes me able to personalize more and hopefully save some moola.

I was really amazed by how quickly all the venues were filling up.  Almost every place we went to only had 1 weekend free in the time we were looking for (late Sept, Oct, early Nov of next year).
